Job Summary:
Secrets Hideaway Resort & Spa is seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseman to support our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the property. This role is essential in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience by keeping public areas, back-of-house spaces, and housekeeping operations running smoothly.
Important Notice:
Secrets Hideaway Resort & Spa is a lifestyle, adults-only resort. Guests may be nude in designated areas, and adult-themed activities may occur on property. Applicants must be comfortable working in this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces
- Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, towels, and supplies as needed
- Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms and public areas
- Support room attendants with heavy lifting, including mattresses and furniture when needed
- Ensure housekeeping storage areas are clean, stocked, and organized
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping needs
- Assist with laundry operations when required
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Follow all safety and cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
